This educational tool will enable therapists, teachers, speech-language pathologists, and audiologists to expand their professional auditory-verbal therapy skills by studying actual footage of therapy to learn how to identify a child's current development level and begin an auditory-verbal therapy program. This interactive video and handbook show 33 episodes of therapy and longitudinal studies with pertinent auditory-verbal therapy tasks at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. The manual discusses the auditory-verbal approach, techniques, and the importance of auditory development, aarticulation/phonology, pragmatics, language processing, discourse, and variables affecting progress. Tasks are given for the professional to complete with each videotape episode.
