Description
A documentary for those who are interested in learning a little more about the history of some of the oldest schools for the deaf in the United States. Extensive footage is provided on the first three schools, the American School for the Deaf in Hartford, Connecticut, the New York School for the Deaf (Fanwood) in White Plains, New York, and the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in Philadelphia. Also presented are interviews with Executive Director Winfield McChord of ASD, Headmaster Dr. Robert Davila from Fanwood, and Headmaster Joseph Fischgrund, PSD.
