Description
The hearing children of parents with a hearing impairment inhabit a unique culture: men and women who do not quite belong to either of the worlds between which they are the only true bridge. Many are members of CODA [Children of Deaf Adults, Inc.] an international organization that focuses--primarily but not exclusively--on helping hearing children of deaf adults address their bicultural identity, and help the larger society better understand both hearing and deafness.
